SCHOLARSHIPS

Casa Italiana Language School (“CILS”) is glad to offer two scholarships to adult students for the study of the Italian Language.

 

How to apply:

Send an email to direzione@casaitalianaschool.org with a short biography and a brief statement regarding your reason(s) for wanting to study Italian.  Scholarships will be awarded to two adult students each semester (Winter, Spring, Fall) to study the Italian language for one semester each at any level. 

APPLICATIONS DEADLINE: December 31st, 2024.

These scholarships are funded through donations of current and former students, as well as parishioners and friends of CILS.  To donate, please contact our office at 202-638-1348 or send an email to info@casaitalianaschool.org.  

 

If a donor wishes, CILS can create and name a new scholarship as a memorial or to honor a cause. 

 

CILS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.  All donations to CILS are 100% tax deductible.

Liliana Lanzano Scholarship

This scholarship honors Liliana Lanzano, an outstanding Italian language teacher who taught at CILS for more than 40 years.

Sra. Lanzano passed away July 14, 2023.

Michael Robinson Scholarship

A long-time student of Casa Italiana Language School, Michael Robinson passed away on July 10, 2023.

His Italian classmates donated for a scholarship in his memory.
